Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education DI Khan organizes the matric and intermediate exams in the DI Khan district and other adjacent areas which are in the southern part of KPK province. All the schools and colleges, whether private or public, are affiliated with the DI Khan Board for their SSC and HSSC exams. 9th and 10th class annual exams under DI Khan Board are held in March and April while the board conducts 11th and 12th class annual exams in May and June every year. Results of these exams are announced couple of months after the exams.

The matric and inter class students of DI Khan Board prepare for their exams through course books and also by using model papers. The reason for using the model papers is that these model papers are made according to the latest schedule and paper pattern of the exams which are helpful for the students to know about the new paper pattern and schedule of the board. The students also get information about the important questions which could be asked in the annual exams as only important questions are asked in the model papers.
